Who did you write this book for?
‘Meet the Bothers’ is written for young children ages 3 to 8 years old. It was inspired by a friend who used the word ‘Bothers’ to explain the different things that we deal with in our daily lives to her daughter. It’s already become a favourite story for our nieces, nephews and friends children who will happily tell you about their own ‘Bothers’ and how they deal with them. We wanted to bring ‘The Bothers’ to life for all young children to enjoy from early childhood to pre-school and primary school, creating conversations and engaging with teachers, parents and carers. 

What drew you to the subject matter of ‘Meet the Bothers’?
First of all we loved the whole idea of ‘The Bothers’ and the world it allowed us to create. There are so many different ‘Bothers’ that we deal with everyday. If felt like a fun way to create conversations around things that may ‘Bother’ children (and adults) and empower them to manage whatever the ‘Bother’ may be. Creating all the ‘Bothers’ characters immediately made them lovable, cheeky, playful and relatable, we can’t wait for you to get to know all of them.
